At Park Street School, we believe that the preschool years are about so much more than preparing for what comes next. They are a time for children to discover the world, build meaningful relationships, grow in confidence, and experience the joy of learning.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce Extended Day at Park Street School Preschool Campus, offering families the option to extend their child’s day until 5:30 PM.
Created in response to the growing needs of the families we serve, Extended Day will carry forward the heart of the PSS preschool experience. Our commitment to knowing and loving each child remains at the center of everything we do. We want every child to feel seen, valued, and cared for while having opportunities to explore their interests, deepen friendships, and discover something new.
A longer day also creates more room for the things that matter in early childhood. Children will have opportunities to engage in rich, age-appropriate activities, enjoy the freedom of play, and benefit from appropriate rest and a thoughtful rhythm to their day. We recognize that young children thrive when meaningful engagement is balanced with time to recharge, imagine, and simply be children.
For families, this new option offers greater flexibility while preserving the nurturing, joyful environment that defines Park Street School. For children, it means more time to build relationships, explore their world, and grow within a community where they are truly known and loved.
At PSS, extending the day doesn’t mean changing what matters most. It means creating more opportunities for children to experience it.
