Park Street School students develop a strong community while here. In order them to stay in touch with this community upon graduation and connect with other Park Street School alumni, we created a PSS Alumni Facebook page that features news, event updates, reunion schedules, and alumni notables.

Our Alumni

We are proud of our alumni and what they accomplish. Here are just a few things we’ve been hearing:
  • Two Park Street School graduates from the 2015 and 2016 classes participated in prominent roles in Boston Ballet’s The Nutcracker.
  • A 2015 Park Street School graduate, as a freshman at The Newman School, worked on creating a track team for the school.
  • A Park Street School 2013 alumnus, currently a junior at Boston Latin School, was accepted into the Ward Fellowship for the summer, working with Governor Charlie Baker.
  • A Park Street School 2009 graduate was accepted into and participated in the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth College over the summer.
  • A 2017 Park Street School graduate placed third in a Grade 7 New England Mathematics League contest.
  • A 2017 Park Street School graduate’s Mini Mates (Hayden Synchronized Skating Team) team was the 2018 National Champion.
  • A 2014 Park Street School graduate at Roxbury Latin School acted in and composed incidental music for the school play “Arabian Nights,” was third place in receiving the Anna Cabot Lowell Deturs in English, and was third place in receiving the The Trustees’ Greek Deturs for 2018 at Roxbury Latin.
  • Two other Park Street School graduates of the 2014 and 2017 classes also received academic awards at Roxbury Latin—third place for the Headmaster’s Spanish Deturs and fourth place for the Richard M. Whitney Science Deturs.
  • Park Street School graduates and alumni of the Class of 2013 matriculated to: Colby College, Elon University, Ole Miss, Auburn, University of Central Missouri, College of WIlliam and Mary, Skidmore College, University of Miami, University of Colorado-Boulder, Fordham University, and University of Texas-Austin.

Middle School Placement

Our graduates consistently receive acceptances to their top-choice independent middle schools, many of which are among the most competitive in the Boston area. And, students completing sixth grade enjoy excellent placement at Boston exam schools. Some of our recent statistics:

  • All (100 percent) of our graduates are awarded placement in top independent middle schools in the greater Boston area.
  • From 2014-2017, 100 percent of our graduates were accepted to Boston exam schools, Boston Latin School and Boston Latin Academy (Eighty percent were accepted to Boston Latin School.).

College Placement

Over the past four years, three Park Street School graduates have been accepted to Harvard and two to MIT. In addition, our graduates from the last four years have been accepted to many colleges with acceptance rates below 25 percent including Amherst College, Bowdoin College, Colby College, Columbia University, Middlebury College, Tufts University, University of Southern California, and Williams.

Where have your graduates been accepted for middle school?
We are so proud of our graduates! They've been thriving in their next schools — with 100 percent having placed in top independent and exam schools in the Boston area since our first graduating class. From 2014-2017, more than 95 percent of our graduates who applied to Boston Exam Schools earned spots, with 80 percent receiving invitations to Boston Latin School. In addition to exam schools, our graduates are enrolled in over 20 different competitive independent schools throughout the Boston area including Belmont Hill, Boston College High, BB&N, Newton Country Day, Nobles, Roxbury Latin, and Winsor.
