Park Street School and Park Street Kids would not exist without our fabulous parents! From the very beginning, parents have volunteered, given tremendous numbers of hours, energy and resources to support the growth and development of our school. In the fall of 2010, our partnership with our parents was more formalized with the launching of the Park Street School/Park Street Kids Parent Association (PA).

The PA’s purpose is to support the stated mission and core values of Park Street School/Park Street Kids on behalf of its parents. The PA works hard to promote a sense of community, helps provide a communication tool between the parents and the school’s administration and faculty, and helps to organize school-wide events in partnership with the administration.

Parents are welcome to and encouraged to volunteer! Volunteer opportunities range from being committee leads who oversee particular events to projects that need a couple of hours each week, to those that need just a few hours of time. There is something for anyone and everyone interested in getting involved and lending a hand to support the school.

Current parents of Park Street School/Park Street Kids are members of the PA. The work of the Association is administered by the officers and committee chairs. The PA officers consist of a president, vice president of Park Street Kids, vice president of Park Street School, secretary and treasurer. Committees have been set up to organize and direct the outpouring of volunteer support. Current committee descriptions and volunteer opportunity postings are available on the Parent Portal.
